My full-time career for the last 15 years has been with weekly newspapers. When I first started, we were using black and white film and developing prints in our own darkroom. After that, we switched to color prints at the local one-hour photo lab and eventually got into digital photography. I loved it and still do today!
On and off again for the last 10 or so years, I have been using digital photography for photos that would run in the newspaper in addition to class reunions, weddings and other functions in my spare time. When I actually received my own digital slr camera (a Canon 30D) a few years ago, I began my own photography business, which I operate in the evenings and on weekends. I have just recently been upgraded to the Canon 7D and it is incredible!
Photography has been a long-time hobby of mine. I love the creative aspect of it that can be achieved with the right camera, lens, light, (a little luck) and computer enhancement. Today's digital photography has opened up a world of possibilities for capturing life's moments and packaging them in a way that will be cherished for generations to come.
I consider photography to be a continual learning process. When I'm not working or behind the camera, I enjoy spending time catching up on the latest photography tips and tutorials. I am also a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
Although I do most of my photography sessions in Tattnall County (Reidsville, Glennville, Collins or Cobbtown), I am also available for location shoots throughout the area. Indoor studio space is available at The Tattnall Journal in Reidsville for those looking for professional photographic backdrops. I'd be glad to talk with you about your specific photography needs.
Thank you for stopping by my website!
